As you browse the Sites, we also collect information about the individual pages or products you view, what websites or search terms referred you to us, and how you interact with the Sites. We refer to this automatically collected information as Device Information.
We collect Device Information using the following technologies:
- Cookies are data files placed on your device or computer, often including an anonymous unique identifier.
- Log files track actions occurring on the Sites and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring and exit pages, and date/time stamps.

We refer to this as Business Account Information.
By Personal Information in this Privacy Policy, we mean Device Information, Order Information, and Business Account Information.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the Sites, we collect the data shown in the comments form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string, to help with spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available at https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the Sites, avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors can download and extract location data from images published on the Sites.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site, you may opt in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies. These exist for your convenience so you do not have to fill in your details again when leaving another comment. These cookies last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we set a temporary cookie to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in to a customer or wholesale account, we set several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days and screen option cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies are removed.
We also use cookies to maintain your shopping cart, process orders, measure site performance, and deliver advertising as described in the Behavioural advertising section below. Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies; note that disabling cookies may prevent parts of the Sites, including checkout and the wholesale portal, from working properly.
Embedded content from other websites
Pages on the Sites may include embedded content such as videos, images, and articles. Embedded content from other websites behaves in the same way as if you had visited that other website directly.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with the embedded content, including if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
How we use your personal information
We use the Order Information we collect to fulfil orders placed through the Sites, including processing payment information, arranging shipping and customs clearance, and providing invoices and order confirmations.
We additionally use Order Information to:
- Communicate with you about your order, product safety notices, and customer service enquiries.
- Screen orders for potential risk or fraud.
- Where it aligns with the preferences you have shared with us, send you information or advertising about our products and brands.
We use Business Account Information to review and approve wholesale applications, verify tax-exempt or resale status, set pricing and credit terms, process and ship wholesale orders, and manage the ongoing commercial relationship with your business.
We use Device Information to help screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address) and, more generally, to improve and optimize the Sites.
Who we share your data with
We share your Personal Information with third-party service providers who help us operate our business, including e-commerce and hosting providers, payment processors, shipping carriers and customs brokers, email and marketing platforms, and analytics providers. These providers are permitted to use your information only as necessary to perform services for us.
We use Google Analytics to help us understand how visitors use https://sheerun.com and https://b2b.sheerun.com. You can read about how Google uses your information at https://policies.google.com/privacy and opt out of Google Analytics at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
We may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful request for information, or to otherwise protect our rights. If our business is sold, merged, or reorganized, Personal Information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We do not sell your Personal Information.
Behavioural advertising
We use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you, delivered through platforms including Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google.
You can opt out of targeted advertising through the settings offered by these platforms, including Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=ads and Google at https://www.google.com/settings/ads. You can also opt out of some targeted advertising through the Digital Advertising Alliance at https://optout.aboutads.info/ or, in Canada, at https://youradchoices.ca/.
How long we retain your data
When you place an order through the Sites, we maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete it, subject to any period we are required to retain records for tax, customs, accounting, or product safety purposes.
Business Account Information is retained for the duration of the wholesale relationship and for as long as required afterward to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely so that we can recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users who register on the Sites, we also store the personal information provided in their user profile. Users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time, except that they cannot change their username. Site administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on the Sites or have left comments, you can request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase the personal data we hold about you. This does not include data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
If you are a Canadian resident, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and to request that it be corrected. You may also withdraw your consent to our use of your personal information, subject to legal and contractual restrictions and reasonable notice.
If you are a resident of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, correct, update, or request deletion of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. We process your information in order to fulfil contracts we may have with you (for example, if you place an order through the Sites), with your consent, or otherwise to pursue the legitimate business interests described above.
If you are a resident of California or another U.S. state with comparable privacy legislation, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, and to be free from discrimination for exercising those rights.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [privacy@sheerun.com]. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
Where your data is sent
Your information may be stored and processed in Canada, the United States, and other countries where our service providers operate. If you are located in Europe, this means your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
Minors
Although we sell products intended for infants and young children, the Sites are intended for use by adults. https://sheerun.com is not intended for individuals under the age of 19, and https://b2b.sheerun.com is intended solely for businesses and their authorized representatives. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised.
